Design and Stress Analysis of Metalhydride Pressure Vessel

The article describes the design and strength calculation of a low-pressure steel tank, which is used for storage hydrogen in metal alloy based on Ti Zr. An external liquid heat exchanger considered hydride tank. Strength calculations were performed to verify selected wall thickness vessel bottom type according STN EN 13322-2 standard implementation tank operating conditions.
